THE PANIC MANIFESTO
Panic likes to think it's a bit different from other night clubs. Here's our thoughts on what a club should be, and how it should be run....
Panic is run (as all clubs *should* be) by a small group of music fans who care more about good music than they do for their own health. All the Djs, Bar Staff and Flyering staff are part of 'TeamPANIC', and they're the people at the front line who make all the decisions. PANIC belongs to them, not to some national corporation churning out 'alternative' nights to cater to a mass-market, pretending they know what the 'kids' want. PANIC is ALL about the music.
At the end of the day, PANIC is its customers, so everything we do is geared towards giving you the best friday night we can. We hope you like it. If not - tell us. Good advice generally gets you free stuff.
CARBON FOOTPRINT
Leicester Square Ltd. (and in turn Panic) donates a proportion of its yearly profits to Climate Care in order to offset all the CO2 emissions produced by the company - including those produced in heating the building, powering the sound and lighting systems and its employees transport fumes.
RECYCLING
All of our promotional materials are printed on to recycled card or paper materials. Where it is not possible to use these, we ensure our paper is sourced from sustainable sources.
PATIO HEATERS
We don't use patio heaters in our smoking area. It is estimated that outdoor heating is responsible for 140,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide entering the earth's atmosphere every year.
